This was an opportunity to show a superhero in action. I wanted the scene to feel explosive as Marvel’s She-Hulk impacts the street around her. The pipes needed to burst and cracks had to be highlighted, which the LED’s helped bring out.

The fantastical setting of Dungeons and Dragons meant this scene needed a sense of drama and to give the user a unique perspective that the characters did not have. The icy mountaintop allowed for multiple elements of that idea with the discovery of a frozen skeleton embedded in an icy cave opening, while a wolf-like creature stalks the group from above.

Desktop Dioramas were created to bring immersive storytelling to personal desk spaces through compact, high-impact scenes. Each piece is embedded with LED lighting, adding atmospheric depth and elevating them beyond traditional statues or figurines. Featuring miniatures from both the Marvel and Dungeons & Dragons universes, the collection taps into familiar touchpoints across pop culture, offering a visually rich and accessible way to personalize any workspace.

Sketching of these two ideas focused on creating a dynamic scene for figures to be placed within. The importance was fostering some framework of a story through each diorama.
